◐ From 2004 to 2005 HJT designed a four-day course which trained most of the UK’s leading immigration solicitors and caseworkers to pass the new Law Society accreditation exams for publicly funded firms.
◐ In 2004 HJT first published its Immigration Manual providing a comprehensive knowledge base for every aspect of immigration law. Many of the UK’s leading immigration law trainers have subsequently worked on its development.
◐ From 2007, working with Affinity Skillbase and pursuing the objectives agreed by UNHCR, HJT provided a multi-day course to train 300 “new asylum model” case owners at the Home Office: grant rates subsequently exceeded 50% on the pilot project.
◐ From 2010, working with Casetrack.com, HJT provided commercial law online courses written by leading junior barristers.
◐ From 2011, working with Capita, HJT provided the immigration expertise to train MP’s research assistants so that they could more effectively handle their immigration casework.
◐ From 2013 HJT has been is a preferred supplier of Bar Council approved training and provides online courses for public access barristers wishing to represent clients on a “public access” basis.
◐ From 2013 HJT has set exams and marked the exam papers for the OISC immigration assessments.
◐ From 2016 HJT has assisted with developing the core knowledge base text for the Law Society for their Immigration and Asylum Re-accreditation process.
◐ In 2016 HJT launched its Mastering Immigration Law, a constantly updated comprehensive online resource covering every aspect of immigration law.
◐ In 2018 HJT launched its Mastering the Points Based System, the first integrated and updatable resource for practitioners specialising in economic migration.
◐ In 2020 HJT launched OISC Level 1 online course, designed as an entry level online course on immigration advice for those sitting level 1 assessments or for junior lawyers. Animation video
